And Clarence, the sad, emo, ginger, rode forth on her ostrich to escape the angst of her childhood. No longer would she put up with her oppressors beating her down with their judgmental stares in the hallways at school. No longer would she listen to their whispers. SHE WOULD BE VICTORIOUS! “I AM THE PEPPERMINT QUEEEEEEEN!!”, she crowed, as they ran faster than ever before. She would be going to the school dance this year.

Not my thing. lol, to say the least.
I was secretly pleased every time a dog didn’t seem interested in the protection work. Especially my puppies. I mean, I didn’t think Jazzie & Hera would have the right drive for it but yeah. Relieved!
I reacted really awfully to the a certain heightened state of barking & aggression some of the dogs were in. I started shaking and I almost cried. I couldn’t reason with myself, I kept thinking “They’re having fun. This is good! This is productive! This is a great way to channel those behaviors into something controllable and and” but I was completely panicking on the inside. I don’t even know what caused it. I was so shook up. I still felt like I was going to be shaking for hours afterwards. I didn’t want to eat. It was really bad. :(
That being said, I know my reaction was entirely irrational and I’m going to continue going to practice to support my friends & their dogs & try to get over it because it was really bad. I don’t like my emotions being that out of control so if I can get over it through exposure, that’s what I’m gonna do.
So, my girl Sierra & I were going to hop into the 20 items or less line at Wal-Mart because all we had was one bottle of hairspray but there were like 6 or 7 people in each of the express lanes, several of which obviously had more than 20 items.
We hopped in one of the regular lines behind two other people & someone quickly joined the line behind us.
We were being a little obnoxious, not gonna lie, while joking around with the lady & her daughters who were in line behind us about how much it annoys us when people have more than 20 items in the express lanes. A VERY COMMON SOCIAL PET PEEVE. I MEAN, COME ON.
Well, the lady in line ahead of us dropped something while unloading her cart and my friend Sierra was looking around trying to see where it landed so she could pick it up for her. She didn’t get a chance because the lady found it first.
She turned to us and said, “You know, why don’t you go ahead? I’m tired of listening to your mouth.”
Well, Sierra and I busted out laughing because it was so unexpected & uncalled for. We paid the $3.53 for hairspray and as we left
Me: You know, I hope you feel better and have a better night.
Lady: I hope you have a better night too and learn some manners.
Me: I’m definitely not the one who was rude to a complete strange for no reason.
This whole encounter is bothering me so much because I cannot figure out how we were rude! We didn’t even interact with this lady until my friend was going to help her pick up something she dropped like what the fucking shit. I know it’s not accomplishing anything to dwell on it but I just can’t figure it out.
That was really bad football today. Really bad. I’m a fan of both the Netherlands and Spain NTs, and both disappointed me. Anyone saying this was a fair game or that it was a good match wasn’t watching the same match I was. Spain dived nearly three times within the first five minutes, weren’t penalized for misconduct, and Iniesta (MAN OF THE MATCH) was clearly vindictive to another player after being fouled. The Dutch team deserved every card they got. They knew they were up against an attacking team and didn’t bring it. Robben should have never yelled at the referee the way he did. Both teams put pressure on each other, and I suppose because they’re both powerful teams, you’ll end up with a stalemate for most of it. Still. Boring.
Poor playing, poor sportsmanship. Frankly, the most boring World Cup final I’ve ever seen. I’m only slightly happy for Spain, but as a Spain fan, I’m horribly disappointed. Neither team brought the spark they had in Euro 2008. Also, if you’re going to reblog that gif of Xabi being kicked and say it deserved a red card instead of just a yellow, then by that logic, Iniesta deserved a red card for elbowing van Bommel. It’s called VIOLENT PLAY.
That said, Casillas and Stekelenburg were amazing and I was pretty happy to see Iker holding up the trophy.
a question I just got wrong on some weird board game called Wit’s End
